About this event

About this weekend

SCCA Philadellphia Region Presents a weekend of Road  Rallies June 12 - June 14, 2026

LITTLE APPALACHIAN 53 - Saturday, June 13, 2026  (National Course Rally)

Once again Little Appalachian will use the Abridged RoadRally  Rules and add both lettered route instructions and a special rule.  This year's rule, the Change State Route Number Rule (CSRN), will involve changing your PA state route number by an amount which will vary by leg.  The course will be moderately challenging and will traverse scenic back roads in mostly Lancaster County Pennsylvania.  Little Appalachian 50 in 2023, part of that year's USRRC also ran in Lancaster County, but this year we will be running a bit south and west of that route. Little Appalachian 50 and 51 (in 2024) both won the Gervais award as best national course rally in that year.

LITTLEST APPALACHIAN DIVISIONAL - Sunday June 14, 2026 (Divisional Tour Rally)

Littlest Appalachian Divisional is a tour rally that is completely straightforward (no traps or tricks) and will run mostly in Berks County, PA where Little Appalachian 51 ran in 2024.  The rally will feature an extended mid-rally break in Birdsboro, PA which will allow for a visit to the Louis J Mascaro Automotive  Museum which is a non-profit museum benefiting children with autism and Downs Syndrome.  Philadelphia Region will make a donation to the museum and contestants can visit the museum at no extra cost.

LITTLEST APPALACHIAN REGIONAL - Sunday June 14, 2026 (Regional Tour Rally)

Littlest Appalachian Regional will run mostly concurrently with the divisional event, but will start later.and run essentially the same course.  The regional event will offer a single class, SOP (seat of the pants).  In the SOP class you can only use a stock odometer and no continual early/late calculations are permitted.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Headquarters Hotel:  The headquarters hotel is the Holiday Inn in Morgantown, PA located at 6170 Morgantown Rd, Morgantown, PA.  The hotel is near Exit 298  of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  The room rate per night is $139.until May 22 (21 days prior to onsite registration).  This special rate includes breakfast for up to two people.    A direct link to make your reservation follows:  (Note:  if not staying two nights you can modify the two night default by changing the dates:: https://www.ihg.com/redirect?path=rates&brandCode=HI&localeCode=en&regionCode=1&hotelCode=MGNPA&checkInDate=12&checkInMonthYear=052026&checkOutDate=14&checkOutMonthYear=052026&_PMID=99801505&GPC=SC6&cn=no&adjustMonth=false&showApp=true&monthIndex=00

If possible we encourage you to arrive early on Friday the 12th.  Attached to the headquarters hotel is the (free) Classic Auto Mall which is a consignment mall exhibiting classic and antique vehicles.  It is only open until 5 PM on Friday and that will be your only opportunity to visit since they close at noon on Saturday and are not open on Sundays.  (classicautomall.com).  Also, if interested, within a mile of headquarters is Hollywood Casino.  If you have even more time to visit before or after the weekend there are several Amish attractions in the area, and the city of Philadelphia  is planning several events prior to July 4 and America's 250th birthday.  (visitphilly.com)

Event requirements

Event requirements (for both events)

Contestants for national and divisional events will be asked to enter in one of these four Classes, as determined by the distance measurement and calculating devices that will be used.

Class E (Equipped)

There are no restrictions on calculating equipment in this Class.  Typical calculating devices in this Class include:  Alfa, Chronar, Timewise, and Zeron rally computers.

Class L (Limited)

Class S (Stock)

Any distance information used for timing calculations must be visually acquired from the vehicle’s stock, non-adjustable odometer in the stock location.  Any calculating device may be used as long as the distance information from the vehicle’s stock odometer is manually entered into the device.

 Class G (GPS)
